Summary:
The China Energy Databook Version 7.0, published in October 2008 by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, is now in its seventh iteration since 1992 as an authoritative sourcebook on Chinese energy and energy-related information. Data are sourced from China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), and broadened by information from industry yearbooks, periodicals, and government websites. All data are from publicly-available materials; although no attempt is made to correct issues in official data, Version 7.0 includes NBS revised figures for the period 1998-2003.
