Sherri Liang

Sherri Liang is an intern with the ChinaFAQs project, part of WRI’s Climate and Energy Program. Sherri earned her master’s degree from the School of International Service, American University in Global Environmental Policy. Her master’s thesis assessed community-level afforestation policies and projects in the Loess Plateau of China. During her graduate career, Sherri represented American University as part of the graduate student delegation at the 2011 UNFCCC Climate Negotiations in Cancun, Mexico, and she also analyzed effective environmental policy communication in the Galapagos, Ecuador. Sherri previously held positions at Environment America and the Council on Environmental Quality. She received her B.S. in Biology from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA.
